Life, Roller Coasters, & Real Estate

Both Joe and Titus have made correct statements and I will add that Real Estate is more like Life then a Roller Coaster... the ups are definitely the best part of Real Estate. Sellers and Agents all agree we like when things are up and of course Buyers like when things are going down (like prices and interest rates).

The first "real" roller coaster I saw was at Steele Pier in Atlantic City NJ (home of several relatives) when I was around 10 years old. A rural State like ND doesn't have a single permanent roller coaster that I am aware of. Of course we see them at fairs and carnivals but not on a regular basis.

I just realized that maybe North Dakota should advertise that... North Dakota, the State with the least ups and downs in the country. If you are looking for stability come to North Dakota!

Tina and Timmothy are hoping to get there this summer Nina Hollander, Broker . I hope they do. My uncle is 99 and still going strong so I'd like him to meet my kids. My first cousin is also there and is quite well to do so I know he would show them a good time and not pinch pennies in doing so.

That toon reminds me of my first roller coaster ride.  I was a young teenager, with friends at the California State Fair.  We'd just eaten a couple corn dogs each, and washed them down with Coca Cola.  Mine went airborne near the end on the roller coaster ride.

Brian England only now, as I've grown older, do I have a problem with heights and vertigo. One of the first companies I founded was Beam-In Antenna Systems. I climbed a lot of towers and spent a lot of times on roofs. I can think of a couple of jobs that I should have been very, very scared but I was just stupid enough to accept them and do the job.

My previous home was in Harrison, NY - walking distance to Rye, NY- home to Rye Playland. Rye Playland is a national historic landmark located along the shore of the Long Island Sound- so beautiful. Lots of ups and downs there. I have never been to North Dakota- probably too quiet for me for any length of time as I am a real city slicker, but I am sure its beautiful out there.

North Dakota has appeal in many ways Adam Feinberg . It has vast plains, buttes and badlands and the famous Red River Valley as well. I'd recommend you check it out in the summer first and then come back in the winter later.
