Kathy Streib It really is up to the parents to voice their desire to the schools for more education of our children about this day and other meaningful days in our country.
Hi Dorie, I love your way of distinguishing the military holidays. I'm from a military family but, am still surprised at how many people have no clue that there is a difference.
And I'm with you in your last comment - we DO need more education on this topic as I fear this will be 'forgotten' in our future generations if we don't.
