On Memorial Day, Remember And Honor Those Who Gave All

 

ON MEMORIAL DAY HONOR THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR ALL...

We who live in freedom will always be grateful to those who helped preserve it.

Freedom is not free. Freedom comes at a cost... in the sacrifice of life and acceptance of death. We are uniquely free in the United States of America because there have been many throughout our history who were willing to sacrifice their lives and accept death to protect our freedom.

Below, I've posted one of my favorite Memorial Day Tributes by Ronald Reagan. As President Reagan said "words cannot repay the debt we owe."  This Memorial Day speech never fails to move me. The message is simple, but powerful: Honor, Sacrifice, Valor, Freedom Is Not Free, and We Should Never Forget.

In the spirit of remembering why we observe Memorial Day and why we are able enjoy this long weekend holiday in the first place, please take a minute to remember and honor those who gave their lives for our great country. Also, take that minute to remember that freedom is not free and has been paid for with the blood of the heroes who were willing to sacrifice their lives for us.
