I know many of you may be weary of reading my moving experience posts. But, can I just say - whew! For the past two weeks, I have been non-stop in moving mode. And when I mean moving, I literally mean - physically moving!
I wear an Oura ring that tracks my steps, sleep, respiration, and more. On the first day of moving, I tracked 25,553 steps which are equivalent to 20.8 miles! No wonder my feet were on fire! Each day since then, I am averaging 11-18 miles per day! This move is getting me in shape!
The lessons, however, are numerous. Life is an accumulation of millions of steps. With each step we take, we complete tasks, we meet goals, and, we continue to move forward. And, moving forward in life is key.
Living life one step at a time is essential. Here are three, "One step at a time" tips:
👞 Meeting goals one step at a time helps you to stay on task and remain realistic when you are faced with large, daunting tasks.
👞 Being able to prioritize what you need to get done and when will help you get things completed step-by-step.
👞 Learning to not stress out when tackling a large job is also crucial. Accept that it is ok to do what you can do and complete it one step at a time.
Give yourself a break and try not to heap too much into your life. Overdoing it will always catch up with you. One step at a time attitude will get you where you are going and will help you keep things in perspective!
