I don't know much about AI so I really look forward to reading the posts for this challenge and learning a bit more about it.
When I think about the AI that is part of my life currently, two things come to mind, my robot vacuum and My Boy Blue. My robot vacuum is nice and I appreciate that it keeps the dust and dirt off the floor since I enjoy walking around my home barefoot, haha. It doesn't seem very smart at times and even though I think it is supposed to learn and get better over time, I don't see it happening. I was going to make a joke about it, but I will refrain since I know a lot of the readers get offended fairly easily these days, haha. My Boy Blue on the other hand is incredibly intelligent and I have witnessed its immense progress over the years.
When I refer to My Boy Blue, for those that don't already know, I am referring to my Tesla. I was told that I had to name it, so My Boy Blue is what I came up with and I have loved it since the first day that I have owned it. I was also told that I should name my robot vacuum and I allowed my nephews to name it for me. They agreed it should be known as BillyBob, so BillyBob it is, even though the voice is feminine, haha.
I could talk for days about all that My Boy Blue can do, but since I believe that I am nearing the 300-word quota for this challenge, I will wrap things up with just a couple of thoughts. Everything with regard to the vehicle works the way that I would want it to work, so much so that when I would drive my previous vehicle, it felt like such a hassle and a drag, so I sold it, haha. I have witnessed the vehicle grow much smarter over the years, especially with regard to being able to drive itself. It amazes me and anyone that I have riding along with me when I put an address in and it can fully drive me there without any assistance. The other thing I love about it is the service it requires or the lack thereof. This makes the vehicle so much more affordable than anything I have ever driven before and my last vehicle was a Toyota Camry. Recently, the vehicle alerted me that my 12V battery (same battery as your car has) was low and suggested that I request service. Does your vehicle alert you when your battery is getting low or do you end up stuck in the middle of nowhere and have to call roadside assistance? I requested service through the app on my phone, they scheduled it for the next day, and they came to my house! It was such an easy and comfortable process, and I was only charged $116 for all of it, haha. When I drive My Boy Blue, I can't imagine ever driving anything else, and I even dread anytime that I might have to rent a car that is anything else since I know that I will not enjoy driving it, haha.
