Housing Market Trends May Of 2023

On June 1, 2023, Realtor.com reported that nationwide median list price of a home was $441,000 in May of 2023, higher 0.9% from $430,000 in May of 2022.

There were 582,032 listed inventory of homes in May of 2023, rose 21.5% from 479,032, or 103,000 more homes listed in the market from May of 2022. New listed homes declined 22.7% in May of 2023 from May of 2022.

Houses stayed 43 days in the market in May of 2023, increased 16.0%  or 14 days from 29 days in May of 2022 according to www.realtor.com/research/may-2023-data/ on June 1, 2023.
