Located in Drums, PA, and bordered by Mount Yeager to the south and Nescopeck Mountain to the north, Nescopeck State Parks is a gorgeous place for hiking, picnicking, fishing, and wildlife-watching. Nescopeck is a sprawling 3,550 acres, inhabiting dense, rich forests, plentiful wetlands, and countless habitats for a whole range of wildlife that call this park home. Whether spending time at your second home in the Poconos or just visiting for a short vacation, Nescopeck should be part of your plans. Enjoy hiking trails of varying difficulty or some peaceful fishing in the early morning hours, either in Lake Frances or the six miles of Nescopeck Creek winding throughout the park. Nescopeck’s office often holds events such as early morning bird watching over tea or coffee, or guided walks around Lake Frances.
This park is close to White Haven Poconos, but only a short drive from several other Pocono communities. Nescopeck is beautiful year-round, but we suggest visiting in the fall; below are some pictures to show you why!
