Earlier this month, a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway that runs SW from Roanoke was reopened that had long been closed. I drove on the section recently, and was able to rediscover my love of our Blue Ridge Mountains. Look below to see photos of late-Spring in our part of the Appalachian Mountains.

Good morning,Wayne! It will be here for you when you return. Since I see that you are retired, may I suggest a drive from the Northern terminus of Shenandoah National Park (near Charlottesville, VA) all the way the the Southern terminus of Great Smoky National Park in Tennessee?
