Home Prices Up $99,000 From Quarter 1- 2023

 

Lawson had a strong showing for home sales in Quarter 2-2023. Although average home sale price was down compared with Quarter 2-2022, the average sale price increased $99,000 from the First Quarter 2023. Median sale price was flat year-over-year and $109,000 higher than in the First Quarter 2023. List to sale price ratio of 101.49% in Quarter 2-2023 was 5% lower than in the same quarter one year ago, but was 4.56% higher than in Quarter 1-2023. It was the same story with days on market, with days on market increasing to 15 days year-over-year, but decreasing 28 days quarter-over-quarter. All this with continuing declines in the number of homes for sale, Lawson remained a seller's market in Quarter 2-2023.

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® good morning, Sheri. Pulte has an interesting "history" in Charlotte. At one time the homes they were building in Charlotte were such "dreck" they were "run out of town." About the time I got my license in North Carolina they were taking small steps in returning to this market and have been very careful since to build a much better product!
