Are you looking for an agent who makes your wants and needs her highest priority?
In the Metro DC Area there are thousands of REALTORs you could hire to help you sell your current home or buy another one.
So, Why Should You Hire Me, Dana Hollish Hill?
Because I'm exceptional.
Look, I know how that sounds. Let me say that in my 20+ years as a REALTOR, I've yet to encounter a potential seller or buyer who lists "humble" as something they want or need in their next real estate agent.
In fact, my clients don't even have to like me.
They hire me, refer me, re-hire me, and recommend me because I'm exceptional at what I do. Simply put, they want results and results are what they get.
So, let me tell you what makes me exceptional.
First of all, I listen.
That sounds very simple, doesn't it?
From our first call or meeting, listening and understanding your wants and needs is my primary focus. I start by sending you worksheets to prepare for our first face-to-face meeting and sometimes it's clear that you have given a lot of thought to your wants and needs and other times you may come to me with your co-seller/buyer and you have never discussed or hashed out where your differences may be and where you agree. That's okay. I'll work with you to figure it out. After I listen to each of you.
Second, I care.
My clients are multi-faceted, unique people with all kinds of experiences, desires, habits, and dreams. Some have purchased and sold multiple homes in many different locations across the globe, others are nervous about buying their first home. Some have plenty of money and others need to be much more cautious with their money.
All of these clients are important to me AND to all of the vendors I recommend. For example, whether you need a down payment assistance program for first time home buyers to purchase a home, or a portfolio lender to purchase a more expensive home, I expect my lenders to give my clients the same level of service that I offer to ALL OF my clients. If they aren't giving it, they don't stay on my list.
You may believe that all agents care. Perhaps you feel agents are motivated by the desire to get paid. However, in real estate, there are many times when you should back out of a deal or say no to a property, that is precisely what I do. There have been so many times I've had to tell a buyer, "Nope, that's not the one." and there have been times when a home inspector and I have had to tell a buyer to back out of the deal. Other times it's the condo docs or a last minute natural disaster. I care about my clients and help them do what is best for them.
Third, I'm Committed to Honesty, Integrity and Service that Cannot Be Better.
It's my promise to you. What does that mean exactly? I'll break it down for you.
Honesty - It means that I tell you the truth, the whole truth, even the brutally honest and sometimes painful truth. You make the decisions so it's my job to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed one. Often asked what I think, I consider your goal, wants and needs and I will tell you. Not everyone does that. I've been in classes where they sometimes encourage us not to do that. You hire an agent for their experience and wealth of knowledge so I share mine with you.
Integrity - The National Association of REALTOR's (NAR) has a Code of Ethics which is online for all to read and I follow the Code in all that I do. Feel free to reference it at your convenience. I actually teach DC and MD Ethics to other REALTORs for the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORs (GCAAR). And if you do read the Code, you'll notice that in Article 1, it spells out that an agent's duty to the client is primary.
Service - People have commented that service is either good or bad and that there really isn't a way it to be better than good service. Well, I know great service when I see it. Notice that Im not promising that my service is best. There are many agents who offer great service and their offering may be different than mine. My promise is that my service cannot be better. If there is ever a point in the process where you think my service or the service of my fellow agents or vendors could be better, let me know and I will evaluate and improve. That's my commitment to you.
What REALLY Makes Me Exceptional?
My clients.
My clients make me exceptional. I get to know them and want to help them reach their goals and get results. That's really it. Here are just a few of my Exceptional Clients...
