On July 7, 2023, Realtor.com reported that in Altadena, California median list price was $1,300,000 in June of 2023 unchanged from $1,300,000 in May of 2023, but higher 4.0% from $1,250,000 in June of 2022. While, median sales price for a home and a condo was $100,000 in June of 2023, dropped 27.0% from June of 2022 in Altadena, California.

Houses stayed 42.00 days in the market in June of 2023 increased from 34.00 days in May of 2023, and jumped from 29.00 days in June of 2022 Altadena, California.

The median listing price per square foot of a home and a condo was $748.00 in June of 2023 up from $746.00 in May of 2023, and gained 5.0% from $711.00 in June of 2022 in Altadena, California.

From the prices you indicate are being offered in Altadena I can tell it's another area I would not be able to afford to live in, haha, but I would certainly dine in their restaurants, if allowed.
