Catch and Release

I imagine that Titus and Philemon's world is no larger then they can or have seen. If Joe walked around the house he walked around their world.

Timmothy Timm is a big fan of "Catch and Release". He doesn't like taking the life of anything other than flying insects. We have only gone fishing once and I'd be curious, had we caught anything, what his reaction would be.

People do fish the river a block away from our home but river fishing to me is to throw a carpenters line out with a hook and check it a hour later to see if I caught a catfish or a bullhead. Just a little further down the line is the North Dakota Game and Fish pond at the Fairgrounds.

The pond on the Fairgrounds is open all summer and no fishing license is required being it is catch and release.

I suppose there is an easy tie in to Real Estate here: You should be licensed if you are going to sell Real Estate to feed your family. Catch and release applies when you catch a real stinker.

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Timmothy has never repeated a joke/comic strip in the 12 years he has been writing it. He has never copied another strip, such as Peanuts or Garfield. You can follow Timmothy on FB as Titus & Philemon and you can also check him out on Instagram as Instagram.com/titus and philemon/ .

Bob, Catch and Release is a good way to get people outside
Spiders inside my house I'll catch and release them, other bugs in my house are not so lucky.

Hello Bob and that last sentence was a good one.  I remember catch and release but never really when there often,  I like my fish.

I am happy just getting them out the door Doug Dawes , that is if I'm feeling kind enough not to swat them.

Gloria Todor it's only been in recent years that I would come close enough to a spider to capture it.

I love my fish as well Will Hamm However the only way you can fish in that ND Game and Fish pond is if you release them once having caught them.

Hi Bob... your final sentence totally cracked me up. When I trained agents I always told them they needed to know how to fire the wrong clients. Wish I'd thought of your turn of phrase!

I was raised on a commercial fishing boat, and as a young woman, I skippered the boat. Over the years as I grew, I no longer enjoyed fishing.  These days I do not fish nor do I eat fish.

As for catch and release, I do that with insects. Nothing dies in my home or garage. They are all rehomed.

I've fished, kept the fish, and cooked them up, but I totally understand there are many who would not want to do that.

That comic flew over my head, haha, although I can certainly understand wanting a spider to be far away from my own home.

Endre Barath, Jr. my office and my garage are my sanctuaries and the fishing isn't any good at either of those either. I would get along great with your Grandfather.

My memories of fishing as a kid and very young man is that there is nothing better than freshly caught/filet fried pan fish Kat Palmiotti . I remember many times at our lake home that guests would say they didn't eat fish but once trying them (at moms insistence) they wolfed them down like popcorn and then be asking for more.

Brian England I guess Joe just couldn't release it and brought it back into the house. That would not happen to me... the spider would be dead.
