While I may be biased as a Realtor and (multiple) homeowner myself, I agree that owning real estate is the best investment you can make. Granted, it's all about timing, but so is the stock and bond market. gold, etc. That said, my former and current financial planners are all about investing in the stock market. Go figure! :-)
