Throwback Thursdays ~ Fun Facts ~ 07.27.2023

Hello Miss Dorie Dillard Austin TX - I hope there are a few fun facts that people will look back on from today after I am long gone from the earth.  I hope I live long enough to see some of them turn into what will become fun facts.  

I imagine you can guess what I hope a few of them will be. 

Hi Dorie- I always wanted a VW Bug, but only as an extra car!   I love them and if I could have a huge garage full of cars, that would be one that I'd have. 

Dorie I had a Volkswagen Bug in the early 70's.  It was a fun car to drive.

History always gives us something to look back on and be left shaking our heads as to how long ago that time was.  mdm

I was struck by the 1943 for Mussolini.  The other day, I came across an old photo taken of me in a swing, at a local park.  The date was April 28, 1945.  It was my second birthday.  I learned that Mussolini, a half world away was executed by firing squad that very day.  

What a fun read, Dorie! As a kid I loved getting in the cubbyhole of the Blue Beetle my parents had.We even took a trip in it to Canada from PA when I was young. 

I still remember that Apollo 11 landing!
