Friday Flags in Waterbury CT Top of the Hill

At the top of the western most hill in Waterbury Zip code 06708 is the Western Hills Golf Course. It is a part of the Waterbury CT Parks system but has a restaurant with views of the hills and the course.

Adjacent to the main building is a flagpole.

On the day I was there, the breeze was constant, and I waited for a full breeze to unfurl the flag.

I only noticed the cloud forming a base for the flag as I was getting to load it for the post.

The course is a challenge, and I may return one day to see how I can fare on it.

Lots of flags flapping in our neighborhood, plenty of strong wind, a reason why I have not yet installed a flag pole due to seeing several ripped off the homes due to wind strength.
