You are taking a nap and someone zips by that wakes you or maybe you are full of energy, someone yawns... and you find yourself yawning as well.
I was thinking about how untimely yawns can be, like yawning while in a listing interview. That got me wondering if there was any infamous yawns in history... like a yawn between two intense world leaders. I goggled it. I didn't find anything that lead to war but I found a couple of interesting tid-bits.
Bella, a Pomeranian from Wisconsin, holds a Guinness World Record for the longest recorded yawn at 23 minutes and 8 seconds.
For humans, David Rickert achieved a 6-minute-and-46-second yawn on May 27, 1994, though my sources are dubious on this fact.
Yawning is a stereotyped physiological behavior that can represent a sign or symptom of several conditions, such as stroke, parakinesia, brachialis, oscitans, parkinsonism, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy.
Fetuses yawn in utero even though their lungs arent yet ventilated.
I believe I've exhausted this topic so here is wishing you a well charged and productive day. Stay awake and get stuff done.
