Friday Fun…Crispy or Soft on the Inside?

Did you know that the chocolate chip cookie is the official cookie of the state of Massachusetts?!

I think everyone should make a batch the way the feel is best. Then...send a dozen to me. I will judge and let everyone know who I chose. Good plan?

You must have attracted many noses with your cookie marathon! Wish that cookie smell could be bottled!

As far as chocolate chips are concerned Kathy, we have a bag always in our pantry too!

Who doesn't love a good chocolate chip cookie?  I know I do. I used to bake when Max was alive. Now that I don't have him or an office to take them to, I do not! 

Yummy post, Kathy! 🍪 I prefer warm cookies that are crispy outside and soft and gooey inside, especially right after baking.

Toll house cookies on the shelf at the store never appealed to me as they were hard discs that needed milk to soften and disintegrate.

Hello Kathy and now I wish I had a chocolate chip cookie to drunk in my coffee this morning.  LOL

Kathy it is not even close for me.  They need to be soft and chewy.

Dog gone it Kathy.  I started this post satisfied with my morning tea.  Now I can think of nothing else but suggested treat to go with it.  lol   Hopefully I can fight my way thru the craving in it will save me a trip to the store and most likely a few thousand calories.  m

I like any cookie with nuts, same as a brownie. I also like them crispy outside but soft inside with those nuts providing the inside crunch.

AJ's Fine Foods here in Phoenix makes the best chocolate cookies!  I don't splurge often but when I do I know where to go.  And if I make cookies, yup, they will be chocolate chip cookies for sure Kathy!

I don't bake Kathy and I'm not all that particular.  I'll eat them pretty much any way, although I do like the Tate's, which are crispy but I also like the chewy ones.

Seven batches of cookies in a week? Sounds very expensive! I know you didn't eat them all so I'm sure the recipients of those cookies were very appreciative!

There are so many chocolate chip cookies out there and I find that many times they can be disappointing. Much like you, I don't want to waste the sugar intake on something I'm not really enjoying.

I prefer a thin and crisp chocolate chip cookie, but I have been surprised by some really good soft ones too.

I like mine with Ghirardelli Bittersweet chips and chopped pecans with a crispy outside and a warm and soft inside. Happy Friday!

When my son was younger I used to bake cookies and brownies every week.  These days, I do not eat cookies.  Rare if I do. But, I remember how much I liked them, most especially, chocolate chip cookies. 

For me, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. 

I like my cookies soft and chewy, but I definitely won't turn down a crispy one.

I don't bake as a matter of choice, but I prefer ooey, gooey chocolate chip cookies, warm from the oven. There is no telling how many people have run out to get their chocolate cookie fix from reading your post. :)

I grew up eating chocolate chip cookies made from the Nestles Toll House yellow bag. I like them the best when they are just out of the oven and the chips are still soft. I also love eating the raw, chipped filled, dough!
