Winnetka North Shore Condo Report
If you would like to buy a condo in one of the North Shore villages, some places are easier than others. As you can see from the chart (below) Winnetka, Glencoe, Kenilworth, and even Northfield have had few sales this year.
The larger communities of Evanston, Glenview, and Northbrook still have slightly lower sales than in 2019, but they still have most of the inventory.
Most condos are selling within a few percentage points of the original list price. Winnetka and Glencoe show that the sale price was higher than the asking price but with just 9 and 3 sales respectively, that's not surprising.
Current inventory and price range for each village:
Village | Condos for Sale | Low Price | High Price |
Winnetka | 2 | $235,000 | $720,000 |
Wilmette | 7 | $279,000 | $675,000 |
Kenilworth | 0 | ||
Glencoe | 0 | ||
Northfield | 4 | $315,000 | $955,000 |
Glenview | 16 | $135,000 | $879,000 |
Northbrook | 31 | $160,000 | $750,000 |
Evanston | 45 | $88,000 | $2,000,000 |
Despite Glenview being slightly larger than Northbrook (in square miles) the town's condo inventory is low right now.
