Brian these days the PMI factors are so low that in many cases it does not make sense to put down 20% even if you have it.

Brian I find it is harder to save now days than three years ago, price of gas, price of groceries and the list goes on and on make it harder for anyone to save for a downpayment... the short answer is Inflation, not just the frivolous $5 lattes, Endre

Hi Brian England. It's difficult for our first time home buyers to come up with their down payment, but thank goodness, there are down payment assistance programs available for them. But, with a little discipline, some can come up with a nice down payment.

I believe that where there is a will, there is a way Jerry Newman and if people become accustomed to paying themselves first, they will have no problem saving up for things that they need in life!
