U.S. National Parks established.... near and dear to my heart. Love the parks!

Oh my goodness, Dorie... for all intents and purposes I don't really remember any of these events!

Poor Pluto, first they make it a dwarf planet, then he is never on the Disney Channel anymore. 

Good morning Dorie. Knew the first one and the 1916 establishment of National Park Service because of a previous tibia question. Beyond that I am a blank canvas. Enjoy your day.

Tho I have read the Act to create national parks, I believe it is still very much unconstitutional and should have been an amendment to the US Constitution which clearly spells out what land the Feds can own.

Dorie, I do remember that Pluto was reclassified as a "dwarf planet" and I think a decision that remains questionable to many of us who know what we learned at school.

Hi Dorie- I've felt sorry for Pluto since it was relegated to a dwarf planet. Also, it seems like CAT scans have been around forever...but I guess I'm that old.

I am in Flagstaff right now, where Lowell Observatory is located and that is where Pluto was discovered.  I don't think they are pleased about it being degraded, haha.
