Hello Norma - I often think of the quote attributed to Vince Lombardi: "perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence."  Your post reminds me of that too.   

I agree, Norma. It took me many years to learn to strive for excellence not perfection. This is another way of sending this message.

Norma J. Elkins  - the saying you posted reminds me of the process for financing and and Lending. The processor collects and processes information for the Underwriter. When there is perfection and the Lender is ready, they announce Clear to Close!
