The last post was written in May 2020 and my VA wrote that. It was the only post in 2020. 8 in 2019 and the VA wrote them too. It's just been too long but recently, I just got that itch and missed my days for being here.
Perhaps over the coming months, I'll update on where I've been and what I've done. But today is Labor Day 2023. Nothing better to make this come back.
No lake & home today means it’s WORK Day, although we’ll be treating the kids to some sushi for lunch (Mama’s treat for them & Papa get to drive us there).
MY WORK QUARTERS are not in lined w physical quarters & today is my start of my 4th 12 Week Year plan.
1st 12 = Started 12/5. Full of greatness & astounded myself w all I accomplished
2nd 12 = 3/6 (started on Spring Break week). I was too gungho & started compressing what I did & scheduled more. It was too much & business started picking up. Over-zealous me thought I will do better in the next round.
3rd 12 = 6/5 (started from the week at the lake). Business was booming, typical pre-planned activities were indeed too much. My focud became more handling new business & transaction management than anything.
4th 12 = Sitting here re-evaluating how the next quarter will go. Reviewing all I accomplished & learned the last 3/4 of the year. Still a great WOW.
Brian Moran was right. Because I start to break down the year in 4 chunks of 12weeks & 1 week break between each chunk, I did accomplish MORE than I would looking at a year as 12 months.
I go into Planning Mode in 4th Quarter every year for the next year. But somehow, this 4th is different. I still feel there’s so much more to “time” & “tasks” left.
If you want to try something new, try this. My Daily Routines, Theme Days now layered w the 12 Week Year plan have been one of the greatest comeback for me.
If you need an Accountability friend, reach out. I have encouraged several close friends to do the same.
PS: There is a free audiobook of this on Youtube. Go search.
What is a 12 Week Year? It's an execution cycle of 12 weeks (& 1 week break) instead of a 12-month cycle. Try it. You might succeed (like me)!
