What's My NC Home worth? Are AVMs Correct?

Love the video, Carla!  Great info on AVMs, and you nailed it - they're great tools, fun to track, and sometimes accurate, but lots of time they can also be pretty far off.

Hi Carla,
Your video prompted me to go see what the major AVM model is showing as the current value of my home. The last time I looked, it was over 3X what I know the actual value to be. Today, when I looked they have it down 45% in the last 30 days. It's all very laughable.

The ONLY way to get an accurate valuation is to talk to a local real estate professional who is working in the market every day and knows what any given home is really worth.

Carla Freund great job with your video.  It is not an easy task to do videos - yours is relaxed and natural. I felt like you were sitting in my office talking directly to me. 

Great video, great info, nice speaking voice and personality.

Additional point:

Agents will also have been in your neighborhood, and know your neighborhood unlike an AVM.

Wow - great result for a first try! You have a pleasant speaking voice and your information is easy to understand. 

My 2 cents:

At one point in the video, you say something like "and if you're in my area, I hope you call me." I would change "I hope you" to "you can call me" and maybe have your phone number flash across the screen at that moment (haha - I have no idea how to do that!)

Also, the "WO" of "Worth" is on the white area and hard to see.

I wish I could publish my first video - I know it's more important to get it out than to get it perfect!

Home sellers are in very good hands when they seek your professional real estate advice and assistance.

Carla Freund, You are a natural and sound sincere, knowledgeable, and confident.

You did a GREAT job explaining AVM's in a polite, confident, natural, nice conversation, without rushing and not too long. I always prefer people who are credible and knows what they are talking about. Carla, I hope your video gets many views and consumers flock to you when they need to buy or sell real estate in your area!
