Beverly Hills, CA Market Snapshot of the 90210 zip code... as most of you who read my posts regularly seldom do I write Market Reports. This time I thought it would be appropriate since so many of my readers have been asking what is going in in the most famous zip code aka the 90210 zip code. As most of you also know I like using the ALTOS Research statistics and charts because they are accurate to the minute. Now with that said let's look at the real estate market.

This week the median list price for Beverly Hills, CA 90210 is $10,625,000 with the market action index hovering around 27. This is less than last month's market action index of 28. Inventory has increased to 152.




Slight Buyer's Advantage

While prices have recently plateaued, this is a buyer’s market and the supply of homes listed has started growing relative to demand. This indicates that prices could easily resume a downward trend in conjunction with the MAI. Prices are unlikely to move significantly higher until there is a persistent upward shift in the MAI.

Hi Endre,

As noted before, I am very familiar with the Altos reports. I noticed that the market has shifted to a slight buyer advantage. If these interest rates keep moving higher, I am concerned that the market will see a real reversal. The Sedona market has been dropping since May. It is now at 32.

Sheri Sperry - MCNE®  I anticipate for the next 12 months or so we might be hovering in the mid 8% for interest rates. Not sure if that will make a huge difference...I suspect it will depress the prices a bit but not dramatically, Endre

It still is mind blowing to see the median home price and median rent....I guess something had to give. Moving to a buyers market will definitely prevent prices from soaring but might be good to have a some normalcy return
