The Zoom call this week was presented by Katerina Gasset, and she, again offered her pearls on making real estate easier to manage.
Real estate agents that find themselves busy will often have issues with not being able to complete all of their work on time and losing sleep and rest time because of the load they carry.
The realities of the load may cause one to consider hiring an administrative assistant to do the busy work and allow the agent to actually work the business. This again causes one to consider the dynamics of having an admin, and seek alternative ways to get the work done, inexpensively.
Working in a virtual business, brings up options that are less costly than the options that were available when business was conducted in a functional office.
She was introduced to using a Virtual Assistant, VA, by another ActiveRain member, Gabe Sanders, who encouraged Katerina to use his VA to ease the burdens of all of the short sales she was doing at the time.
This introduction grew into her taking over the VA business that Gabe was leaving and allowed her to start a new venture, as the owner of a VA company and make a profit her first month as owner.
She used the data base of clients, current and former to learn the business and also to get information on why some left.
She set up her clients on Trello so that they could monitor the work being done for them by the VAs. It is a management system that offers time management, but also can be interfaced between the client and the VA.
The VA system she set up allowed clients to sign up for blocks of time that was used in the projects they had sent over to their VA.
There are VA's that are specific to their tasks and not all overlap. IE, the VA's specialize in social media, SEO, Google My Business, article writing, video writing,
By outsourcing the work, an agent need not worry about what would be done when or even losing a local person and having to find another helper.
She filled the hour plus, not only talking about using a virtual assistant for business to manage a business and keeping up with both the process of the business and managing clients.
Using a virtual assistant, she doesn't do her own emails, but her VA now knows what is important and what isn't, and her time management is maximized.
She spent a bit of time talking about the efforts she has spent in writing topics that would get better SEO with Google.
She has an extensive knowledge on working the business and also getting noticed online to enhance her business. She uses thus knowledge so that she will be able to set up formats that her Virtual assistants will be able to follow for the clients they will service.
The call went well over the hour and not a bit of interest was lost by any of the attendees.
