This Week…Thank You to Many

Thank you to all our police officers, every day, and a thank you to those who work to uphold our constitution on a regular basis!

Good morning, Kathy... it is impossible for any of us to thank our police and their families enough for all the sacrifices they make to keep us safe.

What a great post to remind us of Thank a Police Officer Day and all the sacrifices they make to keep us safe. We enjoyed our first week of below 100 degrees and we've had welcoming rain every day. Just hope we can get through Hudson's football game and the UT football game tonight without getting soaked!

I too thank all law enforcement officers. Thank you for the great quotes and the reminder tomorrow is Constitution Day. 

Kathy, Can't express our gratitude adequately to our dedicated police officers and their families for the immense sacrifices they make to ensure our safety. A heartfelt shoutout to all! 

I try to speak to everyone in my family that lives in the Houston metro every week. All they seem to do is complain about the heat. It has been a crazy year.

Big shout out to all police and military involved in taking down the Pennsylvania jail break escapee!

Everyone could see the restraint used to treat him humanely upon capture. 

Respect and appreciation for our men and women who protect us at their own risk every day!

Hello Kathy, if ever I am out for breakfast with friends and I see a police officer in uniform, I always buy their breakfast.

Kathy, definitely appreciate those officers who put their lives in harm each and every day.

We are enjoying relief from heat here in Sacramento too.  Current temperature at 1:40 PM is 79 degrees.

Kathy the cooler weather has arrived here in CT., we are now seeing temperatures in the low 70's and great sleeping weather in the upper 50's.

Thank you for sharing all those things that we take for granted but should actually be thankful for 🙂

Today was a sad day in CT for the men in blue as they held services for an office killed in the line of duty over the weekend. Over 10,000 paid their respects.

Kathy Streib  loved your post, Diane has a cousin who recently retired from the Boston Police Department and his sons followed suit... you might remember when there was the Marathon Bomber a few years back they were all involved in the chase and the capture of him..... Endre

There are always plenty of things to be thankful for each and every day and those that are thankful certainly live more pleasant lives!

Great post! I appreciate those who are willing to put their own lives at risk to keep us safe. We can't thank them enough.  I sincerely hope we don't lose sight of the intent of the Constitution. Our forefathers had amazing foresight.

Kathy we thank our police guys every chance we get.....and all the other service people as well.   I am with Carol Williams on keeping the intent of the Constitution. It's critical.

Thanks for the celebration of the Constitution - I am a strict consructionist and am really troubled by the elasticity that some people attribute to that document.   If people don't like the Constitution - then amend it - don't twist it into nonsense to suit yourself.
