Encinitas Cruise Nights 2023
~ Final Night ~
Classic car buffs and non-aficionados all love the Encinitas Cruise Nights that take place the 3rd Thursday each month from May through September.
And that means the FINAL CRUISE NIGHT is tomorrow, the 21st, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Tomorrow night is also the kick-off for the annual Wavecrest Woodie Meet in Encinitas. So you can expect lots of classic woodies.
Local car clubs park their vehicles along Main Street and some side streets for all to admire! And there will be dozens.
I’ve attended several times and it was great fun, but it’s been a number of years now. Here's a slide show from a past visit.
You can’t help but be impressed by the Woodies, Hot Rods and other classic, vintage, and foreign cars parked along the Coast Highway 101! They’re all beautiful and so well maintained by their owners.
The Encinitas Cruise Nights are sponsored by the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association and take place on Main Street/Route 101 in downtown, between D and K Streets.
Beautiful cars, several live rock and roll bands, and plentiful places to eat, drink and shop make for a terrific summer evening. What better way to celebrate the Southern California beach town life at the end of the summer!
You should plan to arrive early to grab the best parking. It gets pretty crowded and parking nearby is limited, especially with the changes in all the curb-side dining that’s been added!! Plus some areas of side streets are permit parking only for the classic cars – steer clear or you will get towed.
