This morning while working in my garden, I heard that amazing sound created by the world famous USAF Thunderbirds, who were working their magic while practicing, in the blue skies above. It prompted me to look up.

Hi Myrl... I'm sure this show is very popular. We have one in the city of Monroe here each year and it certainly gets the crowds out.

Myrl I have only been to an air show once, and it was amazing. I would love to go to another one again.

Some years back we got to see them perform over San Francisco Bay and they are impressive. Well worth the time to go and see it in person.

Nina Hollander, Broker - Up until the 1990s, Sacramento had 3 military bases. They included 2 Air Force bases, and an Army Depot. We have a lot of retired military here. Airshows are popular.
George Souto - I must admit I haven't been inside the gates to these airshows. However, several times, I've parked my car outside the gates, and still had amazing views.
Dorie Dillard Austin TX - Yes, they really are!
Ed (Edward) Silva, 203-206-0754 - I can imagine watching them over San Francisco Bay would be amazing.

When in NY I remember stopping outside a store/etc to watch the planes practice for the Orange County airshow. I loved watching them zoom around (and loved hearing that sound!)
Hi Myrl- I love air shows, especially the Air Force Thunderbirds. When we were in FL,we'd watch the show from the boat while anchored close to shore. Love it.

I recall the days of taking my son to local air shows, Blue Angels, and others. It is truly fascinating how they can fly in formation at such speeds. And, yes, that sound is something else Myrl Jeffcoat
My dad was in the Air Force and retired, I really do love a good air show 🙂

Hello Myrl, We have an air show annually in nearby downtown Chicago and some planes fly out of Gary airport and once we heard the Thunderbirds fly over Valpo practicing as well!
They are something to see!
Glad you enjoyed them!
Sincerely,
Grace
Hi, Myrl Jeffcoat - I am not sure how I missed this. My husband would have loved to see this air show. His first passion was flying and watching air shows is a great way to enjoy it.
Oh, by the way, have you gone to the airshow yet ? Did I miss that tidbit along the line?😎
Myrl Jeffcoat - there is no sound on earth that compares to the USAF Thunderbirds! They embody excellence! I would have loved to have been there to experience it too!

Oh, I too love that sound, Myrl! And, their shows are simply breathtaking - one can never get enough of them!
Like Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS, my Dad was in the USAF and my brother attended the US Air Force Academy. He then served his 30 years and retired. He is now a commercial pilot but, he flew fighter jets when in the service. I think when the airline makes him retire, he'll likely go into teaching the fighter pilots as that was his true love for 3 decades!
