Today’s Business Tip
"Do not confuse activity with accomplishment"
While it is true that technology is changing many of the ways we do business I believe it is also true that most agents spend too much time and energy on technology and not enough time on prospecting.
Prospecting remains the most important activity an agent must focus on if they are to be successful. I know that seems obvious but I am amazed at how many agents have stopped proactively prospecting. Prospecting is not necessarily easy, but it can be simplified and improved with technology. The activity of real prospecting, for a minimum of three hours a day, will produce greater results than any Facebook post, Twitter tweet or Blog message you could ever write.
I am not saying to ignore Social Media but I am saying to give it all the attention you want after your three hours a day, five days a week of prospecting. Commit to doing this for 30 days and I promise you your business will increase. Three hours a day – Five days a week!
We are in a people business and until you are face to face with a buyer or seller you have no shot of making a dime!!!
