What Makes Prospect CT A Fine Place to Call Home? Part 3

Many of the residents of Prospect CT  enjoy living in stand alone residential properties. The majority of plots are individual sites and there are very few planned subdivisions in town.  As public services are so limited, there are limited areas for cluster properties like condos.  That doesn't imply that there are nine, however.

There are 2 condo developments in Prospect CT town and they are designed for owners 55 years old minimum.

The smaller of the 2 developments is called Boulder Brook Condos located off of Union City Rd, (Rt 68).   Built in 2005, Boulder Brook has just 35 units, all offering spacious 1590 sq ft, 2 bedroom homes.

The basics include first floor master bedroom suites with plenty of closet space. All models have second floor landings with sitting areas and another full bedroom suite for guests or adult family members.

Full garages with storage areas, gas heat pump furnaces with central air offer efficient year-round temperature control.

Large kitchens with formal dining areas make these luxurious and comfortable. 

Boulder Brook offers a private meeting room for large parties, with kitchen services.

All units have privacy decks for summer relaxing and entertaining.

The largest adult condo complex in Prospect CT, is the Regency at Prospect complex, developed by Toll Brothers.

All units feature full master bedroom suites located on the main level, as well as modern kitchens, formal dining areas, and spacious living rooms. Models have 2 bedrooms with some having a 3rd bedroom as an extra option.

Standard on all units would be gas fired hot air furnaces, and central air. First floor laundry and attached garages sized for 1 or 2 cars.

These designs afford owners the end unit features yet the economies to keep costs down. Units range from 1,400 sq ft to 1,800 sq ft in style.

The sloping land that the complex occupies allows for much open space and units can be purchase with decks for entertaining as well as walk out basements.

The complex features a common building for socializing with other residents, as well. as tennis courts, bocce pits, and a large swimming pool. Many residents can be seen walking the sidewalks with their pets, or just some exercise.

There are a total of 366 units in the development.
