I Apologize I Have Avoided The Rain for Months

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeSmart

Maybe it is because I have been on vacation for over a year. And there will be history made October 31st  My real estate license in Arizona which began in 1980 will expire. I have thought off and on of renewing, and have about 12 of the 24 hours I need, but you know all things have a beginning, and all things have an ending.

I plan to continue to write here in the rain wish I could SEE where I could also put the posts in facebook, and one other place I used to place my posts, but I do not see that option showing up here

All I want to do is continue enjoying life with a positive attitude, and helping anyone I can help.

I began this week volunteering at the national cemetery here in Phoenix where hundreds and hundreds of military veterans are buried.

Drive a very few hours (10 or 12 a week) for lyft this gives me an opportunity to get around the city and see the apartments being built and meet all kinds of different people to talk with.

What do YOU do to keep your mind occupied?

Dan Dee McGinnis The Pumpkin Man ,  Sounds like you are seriously considering retirement.  You can always continue with referrals if you decide to renew your license.  I have so many hobbies- art, cooking, swimming, golf, ... I know I will probably be more busy when I retire!  Best to you!  Kathy

Hi Dan... so nice to "see" you. It's minute a minute and then some. What do I do keep my mind occupied... I work 60 hours a week! That keeps my mind more than a little occupied.

There comes a time when one has to top and take care of oneself. I want to live a life that I can approach my final moments and think 'So what" and not regret things I didn't do.

Hi Dan- Glad to see you back. There are many things we all do to keep active and our minds working. Reading and commenting here is a good way. And Kathy Schowe had a good suggestion about keeping your license active for referrals. Good luck to you whatever path you take.

Hi Dan Dee,
Congratulations on your decision to retire. I've been retired for 12 years and have been enjoying the Rain more than ever. I hope you do too! Next time I get to Phoenix (this winter) maybe you can join our meet-up.
