Managing Real Estate Broker with ERA American Real Estate

This post is not about GDPR I pulled that as a random Wiki card I made of the Wikipedia page for GDPR regulation in Europe via Marble Cards as an NFT.

This post is to talk about Wikipedia and how I appreciate it for being one of the best examples of the good that can be done with the internet. I use it ever week at least to look up a topic on something and most everything is covered with the site.

The site is run by amazing volunteers with this non profit who edit and check for accuracy they take the role very serious and have setup notification systems for edit changes alerting them of edits that rival anything on the internet in real time updates tracking which in times like these with deep fakes and misinformation is a valuable source.

You will see pages locked not being able to be added to if for example a celebrity or politician makes a controversial statement that might get the page attacked by trolls, cyber terrorist. You will see sources for reference with links at the bottom of each of the pages. The sheer number of templates for different topics and sources cited is really an amazing accomplishment and wealth of knowledge.

There is a group on ActiveRain that was started back on 9/15/2008 you can find the link here to the group.

Searching ActiveRain there are "About 1,290 results (0.27 seconds)" results that returned.

Searching Wikipedia there are two results for ActiveRain one for Ben Kinney the owner of ActiveRain and one for an archive link to an old ActiveRain post about

Armour Hills, Kansas City, Missouri

The link seems to have been moved but still points to ActiveRain, you can find old links via but that's for another post.

I will be posting this post to the ActiveRain group and if you are interested in learning more about Wikipedia I suggest checking out the Lex Fridman podcast with founder Jimmy Whales I have just started this year watching his podcast and found the guest to all be interesting I found him while researching AI over the years time and again.

Hello Brandon - it can be interesting to see what can be discovered we dig a bit deeper into many rabbit holes of topics.  I wasn't sure where you might be headed when I saw your post title but I wasn't disappointed in the discoveries you found.

Thank you for the checking out the post and comment.  I think Wiki is a wonder of the internet when all you ever hear is the bad about being online, good to highlight something positive. Michael Jacobs

Brandon Jordan I created a Wikipedia account 11-28-2010.  Another example of a shiny object syndrome.  What to do after you create.   I learned from your links that the Lex Friedman podcast has 3.37MM subscribers.  434K views. is 299MM results when you google it. Listening to Jimmy now

Would you be open to presenting again on our Tuesday zoom call the value of this tool?  12/5 or 12/12?  Eileen 954.483.3912    😎
