There's no better moment than now to pen and share my very first gratitude post, as part of the November Gratitude Challenge, graciously hosted by Debe Maxwell, CRS. My heart brims with appreciation for my grandchildren (all 5 of them), and their presence in my life is a constant source of joy.
It all began when Sheri Sperry - MCNE® posted about her grandson Tristan and shared photos of Tristan in his Halloween costumes from years gone by. Her photos tugged at my heart strings and I felt a wave of inspiration.
Living in the vibrant city of Austin has its own set of charms, but the true magic lies in having the privilege of sharing this town with Handsome Hudson and Beautiful Beckett. I have three other grandchildren that I shared in their growing up experiences, so this is like Deja vu! Another generation to be a part of. The other three are grown and two living in NYC. I still love texting, talking and seeing them!

I just received snapshots of Hudson and Beckett's costumes for this year, where they transformed into characters from the movie Space Jam: A New Legacy, embodying members of the Tune Squad. |
Taking a stroll down memory lane, I couldn't help but smile at the array of costumes they've donned in the past few years. Their creativity knows no bounds, and each Halloween brings forth new, exciting characters and themes. Their infectious spirit and zest for dressing up never fail to make me smile.

As they grow and flourish, I relish the role I play in their lives, from attending their various sporting events to sharing in their achievements. However, there's a bittersweet note in my gratitude, for I can't help but wish that PawPaw were here to witness the remarkable strides they've made.
Family, for me, is an immeasurable treasure, and I consider myself truly blessed to have mine close by, enriching my life with their love and presence.
