I just finished the blog post for Wiki https://activerain.com/blogsview/5815316/wikipedia I briefly mentioned Archive and wanted to follow up with a post about the site if your looking for previous cached results beyond the most recent and or to see when the most recent version of a page was first created this can be a great source.
If you havent been to the site I recommend checking it out.
They describe themselves as
"Internet Archive is a non-profit library of millions of free books, movies, software, music, websites, and more."
If a copyrighted material is past the date of protection you can find the music, movies, books and more on the site also those artist that are part of creative commons who want their works shared. I wrote about creative commons here
If you are a frequent user of Google you likely have noticed they have done away with the cache on results did you know if the website owner setup a cache you can
