I just finished the blog post for Wiki https://activerain.com/blogsview/5815316/wikipedia I briefly mentioned Archive and wanted to follow up with a post about the site if your looking for previous cached results beyond the most recent and or to see when the most recent version of a page was first created this can be a great source.

They describe themselves  as

"Internet Archive is a non-profit library of millions of free books, movies, software, music, websites, and more."

If a copyrighted material is past the date of protection you can find the music, movies, books and more on the site also those artist that are part of creative commons who want their works shared.  I wrote about creative commons here

Find the cached version of a page

There are two ways to find the cached version of a page:

1. Search for cache: followed by the URL of the page, for example:
    

2. cache:example.com/your/page.html

3. Search for the URL, then click the 3 dots or arrow in the corner of the result to access a link to the cached version of the page.
