Debe Maxwell, CRS is hosting the ActiveRain Challenge the month titled "Thankful Thoughts: ActiveRain's November Thanksgiving Gratitude Challenge". This has been an easy challenge for me in the past, because I have MUCH to be gratitude for. For this challenge we get to write one blog per week for this month.
My first blog is about the beautiful season that is about to come to an end here in Connecticut, and its gorgeous Fall colors. This first blog is a particularly easy one, because I am about to wrap up on my "Progression Of Fall Colors In Middletown, CT for 2023.
We are so blessed here in New England to enjoy the Fall leaf colors each and every year. This gorgeous time of the year only last about 1-2 weeks every year, and I am grateful for whatever time we have to enjoy it, even the short time it was this year.
Many people travel for hundreds and thousands of mile each year to New England to enjoy these gorgeous colors. I am blessed that all I have to do is step on to my deck or look out my window, and the gorgeous colors are their for my enjoyment.
So yes I consider myself to be truly blessed, even though this gorgeous time of the year is followed by very cold weather. But even our Winters can be gorgeous when these same trees are covered with fresh pure white snow. When the trees are covered with fresh snow, they almost look like they are covered in cotton balls.
If you have a few minutes click on this link to my "Progression Of Fall Colors In Middletown, CT for 2023, and see this progression of colors for yourself.
