Memories from Brusels 2022

We took a train from Amsterdam to Brussels, we got there in about only one 1/2 hour, so quick! It was cold but not like Amsterdam, nice weather to walk around the City. I think this was on Thanksgiving day, so our dinner was French fries (btw originated in Belgium)

We spent only two days there but we were able to visit all the touristic places:

- Town Hall. beautiful! At night the buildings change colors and it's magical! I felt like a queen :)

- Manneken Pis. and this doesn't look like the pictures you see online, it's so tiny that is hard to even notice other than a bunch of people trying to get a picture of it.

- Parc du Cinquantenaire. We walked from our Hotel there and it was really impressive to see old structures like this one.

- Royal Gallery of Saint Huber, Grand Palace and other places that I don't remember the names :)

Overall we had such a great time there. We thought prices are generally way more expensive than Amsterdam. Food was ok and not everybody spoke English.

Here are some pictures from this trip, next Portugal...stay tuned...

Good morning, Abby. I love Brussels... best food in Europe if you ask me (just don't tell the French!). I've been there many times and love walking the city as well as shopping in the city.

Endre Barath, Jr. hi Endre... as you know, I lived in France. I never had any issues with lack of friendliness from the French. A lot has to do with knowing how to dress, how to approach them, knowledge of their etiquette. And if you try even a tiny bit to speak French, they will be very nice. They just hate that Americans assume everyone should know English.

I couldn't be more agree with Nina Hollander, Broker Endre Barath, Jr. I feel the same way. We were in Paris and people were super nice with us, of course Bernie tried to speak some French. I haven't had any problems with anybody in Europe except from Spain, incredible in my same language they came across a little rude sometimes...:)
