We took a train from Amsterdam to Brussels, we got there in about only one 1/2 hour, so quick! It was cold but not like Amsterdam, nice weather to walk around the City. I think this was on Thanksgiving day, so our dinner was French fries (btw originated in Belgium)
We spent only two days there but we were able to visit all the touristic places:
- Town Hall. beautiful! At night the buildings change colors and it's magical! I felt like a queen :)
- Manneken Pis. and this doesn't look like the pictures you see online, it's so tiny that is hard to even notice other than a bunch of people trying to get a picture of it.
- Parc du Cinquantenaire. We walked from our Hotel there and it was really impressive to see old structures like this one.
- Royal Gallery of Saint Huber, Grand Palace and other places that I don't remember the names :)
Overall we had such a great time there. We thought prices are generally way more expensive than Amsterdam. Food was ok and not everybody spoke English.
Here are some pictures from this trip, next Portugal...stay tuned...
