Successfully listing and selling horse farm properties requires in depth knowledge of not only the real estate market, but also the various disciplines within the horse community. A farm suitable for an eventer may or may not be suitable of for a carriage driver or foxhunter. In this sense marketing horse farms is analogous to the difference between commercial real estate and residential. You have to be an expert to do it successfully. You have to know horses, horse farms, horse people, and real estate or you will spend a lot of time and quite possibly not end up with satisfied clients. So one of the objectives of this site is to help the non horse realtor understand a litle about the nuances involved in horse farm property and equip them to either specialize in horse farms or refer them to Realtors who understand and work the market regularly.
