As the weather returns to its seasonal patterns, the frost is on the ground when we wake, and there is a chill in the air. Winter is officially one month away, and now is the time to think about preparing your house for the season.
I have made several improvements to my house, and plan several more, in an effort to keep my house insulated from the cold air that is outside. This is quite a challenge since I live in a drafty 1915 house. Last month, I only turned my heat on once, and the bill was still about $140. I remember in past years paying over $300 for the gas bill in the coldest months of the Winter.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
