It's Thanksgiving Day!!

From Pam & I, we want to wish each of you and your families the happiest and most fulfilling day. We all have so much to be thankful for, Every new day is a gift as is every breath we take. 

The turkey is stuffed and in the oven. We found the bugger trying to hide as a lamp. This is my favorite Thanksgiving humor picture.

I asked Pam what I could do to help. She replied, "Get out of the kitchen!" LOL... It seems I get in the way and interrupt her thought processes. Isn't that what husbands are for? [grin]

Two of our sons will be coming for dinner with their significant others and maybe one of my sisters with her daughter. Then later in the day, the dessert families will stop by. Bless them because they'd already been at one function.

The meal was great. We bought the turkey from a local turkey farm, 18lbs and cooked up in 3½ - 4 hours @325 degrees. How was your meal? I told Pam, someday we'll go to a nice restaurant for Thanksgiving instead of cooking

Pam made a HUGH pot of turkey soup. We filled up half a dozen mason jars and still have enough for probably 6 or 7 more bowls. Did you get snow?

Yes. Thanksgiving has come and is now in the past. We had a wonderful time visiting our family. The Thanksgiving meal, hosted by our daughter and prepared by my wife and both daughters, was wonderful.

Now that we have returned home, we look forward to our next opportunity to get together.
