Bright MLS is saying 2024 should continue to be a strong real estate market in our area. They predict interest rates back down into the 6's and home prices continuing to climb, although at a slower speed than previous years. Today, we are experiencing a typical easing of the market seasonally, but should see that improve in 2024.
If you are thinking of buying, I say NOW is a great time...Interest rates have been dropping daily and so have home prices in some areas. If you wait, you may find yourself in greater competition, higher home prices and less appealing terms. Right now, there are less buyers and you can refinance when rates go down.
