Today, December 1, 2023, January 1, 2024 is just 31 days away. I have been working on my executive strategic thinking and planning for the last couple of months. Now is the time to formalize the actual plan by committing this plan to writing.
I do not employ the words “business planning” because a business plan is what is submitted to a bank. Its construction is not as detailed as an executive strategic thinking plan. The key word in this planning approach is “thinking.” And I have been doing a lot of thinking.
The first thought thinking process was predicated on being a Rainmaker here on Active Rain. That 2023 goal was achieved as far as points in early November.
Then it was time to craft an updated bio. To undertake that goal I hired an Active Rain Member, Marte Cliff to bring a different perspective. We are in the process of finalizing that bio and that marketing goal will be completed shortly. I will add Marte is extremely good at what she does and well worth the investment.
During the last quarter of 2023, I started thinking and planning blog posts for 2024. I will be doing a series entitled “Mohave County AZ the Best Place to Be.” And probably a complementary series about living in the high desert as I have learned that many individuals do not understand all the nuances of living in the high desert as well as in AZ.
I am still researching the benefits of separate Facebook page. As to my website, currently that is parked.
Additionally, I am investigating a separate focus on reopening my consulting and coaching practice specific to executive strategic planning and leveraging psychometric assessments. One of the psychometric assessments I have integrated into my executive leadership and sales coaching practice was the Attribute Index. This is probably the most powerful assessment I have ever witnessed if one truly wants to have clarity about her or his talents and internal thoughts. Our thoughts drive our behaviors.
Given I know many independent contractors and especially real estate agents fly by the seat of their pants as Pilot Captain Wing-It!, providing this supplemental service may help to reduce the number of failed real estate agents. Also with some of the real estate market uncertainty having a supplemental service makes good strategic thinking.
This series will take a real estate agent through how an executable executive strategic thinking plan is created. Remember, each real estate agent is a leader, an executive and the CEO or small business owner of his or her own real estate practice.
