It's the Season of... Fresh Breath???

Now that is a take on the season I don't believe I have ever heard of before. Let's just say it's a Timmothy Timm original. It did make me think of a few random thoughts I'll share.

When was the last time you smelled really bad breath? I'm not talking about a spouses morning breath but somebody out and about during your day. I don't even remember... and that's a good thing.

It also made me think of a friends daughter. His daughter starred in a gum commercial in the 1960's and was a local celebrity for years. Her name is Dee Ann Allen and I believe she left Minot ND to South Carolina. She still models and I believe she is/was a home stagger.

The other random thought I had on the topic of fresh breath is I imagine medical science has helped in this area. I have had stomach trouble most of my life that caused me constant heartburn. As medications have advanced past Tums I no longer have that problem (as long as I take medication daily) and I am sure these digestive aids have helped cancel many cases of bad breath.

Sorry to take you on a trip of so low importance but I can blame the comic strip above for it all. Have a minty fresh day.

I just had a peppermint latte a bit ago.  So, I guess I'm guilty as charged.😊

Hi Bob,

Had to chuckle at Timmothy's cartoon today! So many moth freshers today and I always carry some with me....just in case.

Carrying breath fresheners is very hit and miss for me Dorie Dillard Austin TX but I make sure I have a toothbrush and mouthwash at my office and of course at home.

Thank you for the feature in the Old Farts Club group Myrl Jeffcoat . Us old farts can remember a myriad of different products to keep our breath kissable fresh over the years. Remember TicTacs?

Too Funny ! What a great idea to open notary company after you retire from RE. I am actully thinking of doing the same thing but have a ways to go to retirement!

Thanks Tracy Lee Parker . I originally got my Notary Public licence because I thought it would be good for me to be able to close mobile home sales and skip the title company only to find out in ND no "closing" is needed for mobile homes as they are treated like automobiles which also do not need a notary to sell. That being said I found out I could close loans for Rocket Mortgage and others for $200. a pop. My first year I made $20,000 along with my Real Estate commissions.

Masks and distancing certainly helped in this case Endre Barath, Jr. but now with the mandates no longer enforced we are more likely to run into halitosis once again.

No, it is very uncomfortable Brian England , especially when you run into a real talker.

I don't either Kat Palmiotti unless you count the few times I've been to the bar (date & pizza night) when I've run into an inebriated person.

Hi Bob... really, the last time I was truly aware of bad breath (and body odor) on a regular basis was more than 30 years ago when I lived in Paris. Those people did not use deodorant nor did they go to dentists on a regular basis or brush their teeth regularly. I was always amazed to see news articles touting the fact that more French people were using toothpaste! Say what?

That is interesting and somewhat amazing Nina Hollander, Broker . Bad hygiene is such a turn off no matter how attractive the person. I remember an episode of Seinfeld where Elaine and some of her co-workers were ogling a construction worker outside their place of work. He came in and Elaine happened to  get in the elevator with him. She ended up doing all she could to keep her lunch down as he had such bad body odor.
