Another win for the Space Coast....
Space Coast Innovation Park will be a 3 million-square-foot project that features three phases of Class-A industrial buildings situated across 450 acres. This project is in the heart of Florida’s Space Coast along the beautiful Brevard County coastline.
It is going to be a state-of-the-art project, and will be located along Grissom Parkway and Perimeter Road, within the boundaries of Space Coast Regional Airport’s federally licensed Exploration Spaceport in Titusville.
It is going to be built in three phases. In the first phase (phase I), it will have three industrial buildings totaling more than 639,000 square feet (across 50 acres), and is set to break ground in first quarter of 2024. Phase II will include two industrial buildings spanning about 466,000 square feet on another 50 acres. Phase III will feature mixed-use development, and span the remaining 350 acres.
The Space Coast is home to one the nation’s largest concentrations of aerospace, defense and technology employers. It includes Blue Origin, SpaceX, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, L3 Harris and Amazon, among many others. The Space Coast also boasts Patrick Space Force Base. It is the preferred headquarters location for the U.S. Space Force’s Space Training and Readiness Command operations.
The Space Coast is also home to NASA's Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center launchpads. Every month we see multiple rocket launches for both the federal government and the private sector. I can walk out my front door and watch the launches that most only see on TV!
