Washington County Utah Residential Snapshot November 2023

Holiday magic is upon us here in Southern Utah! The lure of mild winter weather and a sound economy brings buyers to take a look to build or buy that home they have been contemplating. I can help because Wanda Can!

Year to date, Washington County, Utah saw a decrease in residential sales as of November 2023 at 3,171 compared to 3,473 by November of 2022. The market has slowed with more inventory coming online in the local area.

Average Days on Market has increased since last year due to a changing market. The time that it takes to get a property sold differs for each surrounding city in the St. George, Utah area from month to month, as you can see here.

Average list price in November 2023 was $817,337 compared to November 2022 at $744,208. Average sales price for November 2023 was $634,154, whereas, November 2022 brought $625,142 price. Year to date sales price is $602,607 for 2023, $646,840 for 2022.

St. George, Utah has the most sales at 54% for November 2023 and 53% year to date. Average home prices are trending down in recent months. Rates improving over the last week or so, this is a great time to be in the Southern Utah real estate market.

Temperatures are inviting for golfing, hiking, biking plus a variety of outdoor activities designed for an active lifestyle. Visit a State Park or National Park nearby and get a new point of view!
