Take Time to Wrap Your 2024 Holiday Gifts

In a couple of days, children and adults across the country and world will unwrap holidays gifts.  Gifts from parents, grandparents, family members and friends will cover the floors with these given presents.  However, the excitement and pleasure received from these gifts will far exceed the discarded wrapping paper.

Now what would happen if you wrote down what you want as gifts from yourself to yourself this time next year?

First, find two small boxes. Second grab some paper and a pen (pencils are not acceptable). Third using the above graphic, write the gift you wish to give to yourself for each of the 8 areas of the Life Wheel and the 6 areas of the Professional Life Wheel.

If you have some of those extra holiday stickers or Christmas labels' place them on some paper; cut them out; write on each sticker in pen and put them in the respective gift box.  Finally,  wrap the two small boxes and then place the boxes on a shelf that you can see so you don’t forget.

Now determining your 2024 holidays gifts to give to yourself may take some time as both reflection and clarity are required. If you are experiencing some challenge in determining what to give to yourself this question:

How emotionally satisfied you are within your personal life and your professional life within any particular area.

By answering this question may bring greater clarity as to the presents you wish to give to yourself by this time next year.

Of course, somewhere in your calendar, your datebook, your strategic thinking action plan, you probably may wish to note all the gifts you wish to give to yourself.  This may help you stay on course and not forget those soon to be precious received gifts. Possibly you could turn those 2024 gifts into WAY SMART goals?

Buddha who appears to be the first person to articulate balance in life said:

Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.

Tony Robbins believed:

Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.

Finally, Voltair shared:

God gave us the gift of life; it is up to use to give ourselves the gift of living well.

Much success in giving yourself these 2024 gifts now.

Hi Leanne Smith All gifts are nice to receive, but this time of year I like to reflect and celebrate the Greatest Gift of All, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who promises us eternal life in the God's kingdom.

Good for you.  I have my strategic thinking plan committed to writing and started working on it this past fall.  My gifts are few and mostly in personal area as my professional area is for the most greatly satisfied.
