Good morning, Dorie... I totally remember what a "to-do" it was when a computer was named "man of the year."

The Time Magazine references gave me 2 things to ponder. Is it even published anymore and in checking it is now digital.

Secondly with the advancement of AI will the computers do the same down the road?

Hi Dorie= many momentous events happened this week. It's interesting that Washington crossed the Deleware river on Christmas.

Dorie I wonder if that is the only time a machine was named "Man of the Year" by Times Magazine.

1982 - The year the computer was named "Man of the Year."  In January 1983, I bought my first computer.  It was an Apple IIE.  We didn't even have Windows back then.

I didn't know that Time named a computer man of the year, haha.  With Ai progressing at the rate it is doing so, it seems that might happen more in the future, haha.
