. I have actually witnessed a real estate agent
arrive at 12:50 for a 1-3 Sunday Open House . They
had just started putting up any signs ! The local
public had no idea the property was going to be
Open . I put together a check list that is applicable
for most Opens (OH) :
1. Flag the OH Date on your MLS ( it notifies Big Z)
2. Print Media - if you still use this , deadline might be 5 days prior to the OH .
3. Promote the OH on Social Media ( w/ a Video tour)
4. Open House Rider - should be attached on Sales Sign by mid Tuesday.
5. Circle Prospect - tell Neighbors about the OH (They won’t bite ). Invite them & friends to attend .
6. OH Directionals - must be up 24 hrs. Before OH
7. Handouts -have MORT. Co. do estimates for Down Payments of 0,3.5,5 % and associated closing cost .
8. RPR Report of the Subject Property displayed @OH
9. Sign In Sheet - fill in 1st line ( or 2 ) to show them how It should look !
10. Sign In Sheet TENT CARD - that reads , if you would like a utility costs sheet , FuLl Page MLS printout (Including Photo Tour) please sign in .
11. RPR Tent Card - that reads , if You would like a report On Your own Property, please Sign In ( when you send them their RPR add this verbiage - Hope this is helpful, However this is the best that I can do site unseen . I Would be willing to do a quick walkthrough to update the report .
12. Follow up all unrepresented attendees and notify Realtors whose sign ins said was their Buyer Agent, that they had visited the OH ( send agent MLS #)
