The Affects of Rising Interest Rates

We all know the affects of lower interest rates brings more buyers due to lower house payments, but take a look at what the affect did for a year in the Springfield Mo housing market.

Like other markets across the country, homes sales dropped, but housing prices continued to rise, along with the number of days on the market.

In 2024, interest rates are predicted to start slowly falling.  We're hoping the buyers that were unable to purchase a home in the last few years can now be able to start looking once again.

George Souto, you are correct.  Imagine all the buyers that have been unable to buy due to the rising interest rates plus the increase in home values.  History is repeating itself.
