Home Buying in 2024

How's the market in your area? If you are interested in buying a home in 2024, you will want to answer this question. Even with interest rates still high, there is an increased desire to buy homes in 2024.

Average Americans are ready to stop renting and buy a home, whether it is moderately priced or overpriced. Inflation has slowed, but that does not mean the prices have come down. They have just stopped rising at the same rate.

Most people understand that outside a major depression, prices are not coming down any time soon. So, waiting will not make it any better. Only if mortgage interest rates drop, will monthly payments be lowered.

During December and January, my best-selling book has been 'Buying Your First Home'. I was surprised when I saw the stats on this for December. 'Heart Calls' is a poem and short story book that works perfectly as a gift. In December 2022, it was my best seller. So, I figured it would be the same this past December as well.

To my surprise, 'Buying Your First Home' beat it out substantially and in January it has continued to have strong sales. This is because people are interested in buying homes in 2024. So, be aware. The competition will be fierce, if you are in the market.

Happy Home-Buying 2024!                               www.RickiMcCallumBooks.com

Ricki Eichler McCallum - You're an excellent writer. I enjoyed the book you sent me very much. If buyers want to buy their first house, this is the book to buy and read; then hire you.

Hi Patricia, Thank you so much. I would need to send the buyers to you or some other Active Rain agent as I am retired and only writing books now. :) Hope you're doing well!!

I will have to check your book out. Does it walk the buyer through it step by step?

Yes, it actually does walk the buyer through the whole process. Written for people that know nothing about buying a home. It is a Realtor's asset to give to potential buyers. It can answer lots of questions and help your buyer feel more confident.
