Anatomy of a Fall Preview Available to Rent

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeStarr Realty RS143922A

I was snowed in for quite a while and decided it was time to rent a movie .=. Looking at all the choices, I decided on Anatomy of a Fall. It was a foreign film but won many awards this year, and I like the actress Sandra Huller. She is also in the Zone of Interest, which I am anxious to see.

Anatomy of a Fall was a great choice; there was no moment when your interest was not piqued. The picture was subtitled and in English, so if this bothers you, this would not be a movie you might choose

Was this a murder, or was it a suicide?  You decide as the facts are presented.  There is a courtroom battle where facts are presented. I found the acting to be superb. It kept my attention from start to finish and was 159 minutes long.

I do not want to give away the story, so I will attach a YouTube video so you can get an idea of the story; I was very impressed and felt it was money spent very well.  I highly recommend it,

That is a long movie, hard for a weeknight, but it sounds good.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543: You get a 48-hour rental worth the time. If you cannot finish in one night you can watch the next day

Hannah I don't like movies with subtitles, BUT I would give this one a chance.

George Souto 3/4 is in English, but some are in French, so you need subtitles, and this one is worth it. I do not usually watch films with subtitles. This one was well worth it

Hi Hannah- with its length, I would be better off renting it to watch at home so I can pause it when I want!!! Looks like this was a good choice for you while you were snowed in.

Kathy Streib: It was so compelling that I only paused to go to the bathroom (shh). I was surprised when it was over. It moved quickly.

Hello Hannah - I saw this movie and enjoyed it too.  While it was long (many of the recent movies seem to be), it was quick-moving even with the mix of sub-titled text and spoken in English

A film-going friend from NYC also recommended Zone of Interest.   I am glad to see this post.  Even though I continue to see movies in the theater, I rarely share thoughts in a post.  I will continue watching. . .

Michael Jacobs,  I saw the Oscar nominations, and this movie received many, and I am not surprised. Usually, I wouldn't say I like foreign films, but this was an exceptional

Speaking of the Zone of Interest I heard it is a warning film and quite chilling. I was glad to see the academy recognized it, as it was overlooked by all the other awards in the USA.

Hannah Williams - I saw the nominations too.  My friend told me Zone of Interest was interesting in that it was like a movie within a movie with some twists and turns.  She liked it a lot.

I know the Academy Awards gets a lot of flak for a lot of reasons, but I understand they are based on opinion.  I like what I like and often that doesn't jive with what others think.

Perspective plays a role. Sometimes it is a lead performance and then there are time it plays a supporting role.  <=== How do you like that for a cinema-inspired comment?

Hannah Williams - it's on my list to see.  Hopefully, I will see it before the Oscars.  🎥

Michael Jacobs Zone of Interest is not playing here, but I have seen interviews, previews and many opinions about the movie. I am anxious to see it, and the lead actor said it took him time to get the character out of him.  Your friend is lucky to have seen it,

As for cinematic-inspired comments, I have expected nothing less from you - bravo.

Myrl Jeffcoat,  I think you will enjoy it! Especially if you like serious films . I cannot get the music out of my head. It is pretty haunting.

Thank you very much for this recommendation.

I just returned from an afternoon of shopping with my wife at Costco

I guess we are lucky to have a Costco store in Gaithersburg. It is one very busy place and the prices are attractive. Sadly, our local store does not have gas pumps and does not sell wine. We have to go to other areas for those services.
